These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CompScan, a competitive-intelligence monitoring service available at compscan.io ("the Service"). The Service is operated by Haibe Hussein, trading as an enskild firma (sole proprietorship) registered in Sweden under organisationsnummer 620206-0676, with a registered address at Solhems Hagväg 51, 163 56 Spånga, Sweden ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
CompScan lets you track competitors you specify by monitoring their public website content, publicly available news coverage, publicly available review/sentiment signals, and publicly discoverable job postings, and generates summaries of that activity — in some cases using AI (Anthropic's Claude models) to synthesize the summaries you see. These summaries are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date, or occasionally inaccurate. CompScan is a research aid, not a substitute for your own diligence, and we make no guarantee about the completeness or accuracy of any summary, sentiment score, or alert.
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@compscan.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

CompScan currently offers a free tier. If and when paid plans become available, the pricing, billing cadence, and cancellation terms for that plan will be presented to you before you subscribe, and payment will be processed by our payment provider (Stripe) — we do not store your card details ourselves. Fees already charged for a billing period already in progress are non-refundable except where required by law.
You control what competitors, URLs, and notification destinations (email, Slack webhook, phone number) you add to your account. You're responsible for having the right to monitor any URL or destination you provide. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account data at any time by removing your tracked competitors and contacting us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe are abusing the Service (for example, triggering excessive automated requests).
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including business decisions made based on a CompScan summary or alert. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify account holders by email or via a notice in the Service before the changes take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
